I'll attempt to keep this thread updated with the latest known Linux-specific issue in non-preview (non-'beta grid') clients. Be sure to read the 'Known Issues' and 'Troubleshooting' sections in the README-linux.txt which comes with the Linux client before reporting bugs! ---------------
These are the most commonly-encountered known issues which are specific to the Beta release of the Linux client.
* UPLOAD / SAVE / COLOR-PICKER DIALOGS - These only appear when the client is in 'windowed' mode, not 'fullscreen' mode.
* UPDATING - when the client detects that a new version of Second Life is available, it will ask you if you wish to download the new version. This option is not implemented; to upgrade, you should manually download a new version from the Second Life web site, <http://www.secondlife.com/>.

I'll experiment with keeping this thread 'closed' so that new resident-reported issues can get their own threads instead of this thread becoming a mostly-obsolete giant hybrid shambling monster of a misc-bug-report and help-request thread like its predecessor!

If you're seeing this error on startup: "INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: JavaPluginFactory5 init - no agent?": Our embedded Mozilla scans for an existing Firefox/Mozilla's plugins (I'd rather it didn't...) and for some reason hates some versions of the Java plugin. A workaround is to delete the java plugin from firefox/mozilla, though that's obviously pretty kludgey.
