I have gotten SL running a grand total of twice now, with outstanding FPS btw, but I seem to have a bit of a choke on startup; The client will get to the 'Verifying Protocol Version' and then terminate after entering my user name and passwd. I've pasted the last few lines from the terminal below. It looks like a sound issue, so in preferences, i have muted the audio and got it to run twice, no it is a no go. I am running an AMD64. I also tried uncommenting the 3 lines in ./secondlife to tell the client not to use audio. What do I do next?? I really loved my 80~120FPS, as opposed to my 22FPS in windows. ====(snip)==== 2007-03-26T11:25:49Z INFO: remove_marker_file() 2007-03-26T11:25:49Z INFO: do_elfio_glibc_backtrace: Opening stack trace file /home/dereck/.secondlife/logs/stack_trace.log 2007-03-26T11:25:51Z INFO: do_elfio_glibc_backtrace: Finished generating stack trace. 2007-03-26T11:25:51Z WARNING: LLTransferManager::~LLTransferManager - Should have been cleaned up by message system shutdown process ~AR
