Not Getting to Login Screen :*( SecondLife_i686_1_18_6_75762_WINDLIGHT

Anyone else having issues with the latest FirstLook client.. the usual download, untar and go has failed badly for me... spent the day looking for solutions on wiki, support portal, jira and anywhere else I could think of..
I have no issues getting the standard client running on the same machine.. the previous version of the firstlook client would get through to the popup downloading a new version...
When I run via terminal I get the following.. (only posting a small amount as there seems to be nothing before that is pertinent)

Just a guess, but it might be that your settings file isn't loading up?
The XML_STATUS error is what makes me wonder.
If you look in ~/.secondlife/user_settings you should see a few setting files from the various versions you've been running.
Try renaming the "settings_windlight.xml" file to "settings_windlight.xml.old" or something and then run it again.

Like I say... it's just a guess ...

I have tried completely deleting everything from the .secondlife folder in case stuff had been corrupted somehow... I have done the standard in SL mentor and when it existed LiveHelp advice, ie.. complete fresh install...

Is this worth looking at?

Yeah I am thinking that is the main error there... not being able to find the ip would seem fairly critical... I just don't know where to change that info.. or where it would be kept even...

Maybe using a different CACHE directory, or something? You can change that in the GUI under NETWORK.
