I know that the tcmalloc request is being dropped. But was it dropped for version 1.17.2.0? I have downloaded 1.17.2.0 and it stll crashes with my system on start. I am running a Compaq P3 with 1 ghz speed and 512 of memory. I have a new n-videa (sp?) card. I am running Xandros Home Edition - Premium. Below is the info generated when I try to start this version of Second Life. I want to get back on Second Life and I don't now much about building a version of second life. I need to download it and simply run it. I enjoy Second Life and hope that they are not going to build it beyond my computer.
