I didn't find the linux client crashed (few times a day) very much till the very latest version.

At this point it sometimes crashes in the first 30 seconds - though it may be 10 minutes or an hour it is getting rather too frequent.

The good news is I am sending a HEAP of debug dumps to Linden ;-)
