Linux Install

I am trying to get sl to run on linux, an keep getting a download latest update, if i try download it, i get a message that i havent got the latest version, however the version i have is upto date and am running 1.13.2(12) January 19, 2007, so its all of 2 weeks old. Can anyone give us a clue how to resolve sl crashing...

Try renaming the (maybe hidden) .secondlife folder in your "home" folder, maybe.

The Second Life viewer is update frequently. Since 2007-01-31 the version 1.13.3 is recent. So you will have not luck with the outdated 1.13.2.

Heh, I should of thought of that Kornscope... me, I just 'rm -r' my old sl (which was called SL) directory then made a new one when I moved my untarred new client contents.
