Doesn't work at all

Attempted both games-simulation/secondlife-1.18.3.5 and games-simulation/secondlife-bin-1.18.2.1, but neither work.

1.18.3.5 had the closest success, drawing a black window and idling after "setStartupState: Startup state changing from 1 to 2"

my ~/.secondlife and strace output is available if anyone wants them

Please respond via email as well, as I am cancelling my account's connection to PayPal for peace of mind as long as Second Life doesn't work

Not enough information. We need to know things like:
1. Does it (your system) meet hardware requirements
2. What hardware do you have, including graphics card/chipset
3. What distro/version (of OS, not SL) are you using
4. What graphics driver are you using
4. Details about your broadband connection
5. Anything else that may be important

This is a new thread. If all this information is in an older thread somewhere, please refer us to that so that we can see what you were doing before posting this.

Last, your PayPal status shouldn't have anything to do with your access to this forum. The fact that you were able to post says you will continue to have access to the solutions you find here.
