Hi,
I'm running SecondLife-i686-1.22.10.112620 on Kubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid) and, finally, voice is working. I believe the currently used sound system is Phonon-ALSA. My system sounds go to the built in sound device on my laptop (hda_intel Sigmatel STAC 9205) and voice to my Logitech Premium USB Headset 350.
Unfortunately there has been a collateral casualty and streaming music no longer works. I can hear ambience and button sounds but no streaming audio. I'd be really grateful for any suggestions on how to get this working please.
Thanks, Pap.

Is there any way of verifying that: A) A sink is being created when you try to play streaming music; and, B) If a sink is created, that it is associated with the correct audio device? I know these can be done in Pulseaudio, but not sure what utilities are available for Phonon.
