SL audio works off and on in Windlight

Here is my config: I'm using Second Life Windlight 1.16.0 (62469) with Fedora 7. I also like to listen to mp3 streams from http://di.fm.

Here's the problem: It seems I can either 1) listen to a stream but not music from a club on SL or 2) I can listen to club music but not an outside stream. I've gone to the Linux Real Player site but it doesn't seem that helpful to me so far. Is this just a Real Player for Linux problem or a general problem with linux audio players ? I'm using ALSA for my sound. TIA.
