hi, since today morning, i've found voice working on Kubuntu too, and i don't really know why only today, lol.

I just simply type "I don't want to use voice - get over it!". It offers no excuses for my preference, and it preserves (or at least doesn't degrade) Linux' reputation as an OS worth consideration.

Not running voice IS an advantage. it's a very respectable point of view, another PoV can be that i was waiting for voice working since hardy heron (a k/ubuntu release). bye. PS: don't forget to chech capture on mixer channels, it makes mic working. |

It's funny, now I have voice working I've suddenly developed a persistant and chronic throat infection, so unfortunately I can't use voice at the moment, lol. /me scratches head....why did I want voice to to work again?, oh yea, so I could be nosey and listen to other peoples conversations? hehe. |
