I haven't used SL in about a month, real life was eating my free time. I see a number of posts about graphics and such in the lastest version, and just have one question. Is it still recommended/needed to run the libalphafy hack to have clothes and skin display properly, or has that been fixed? Thanks!

I've been regretting deleting libalpafy a month or two ago during some /home housecleaning. I really want to try it to see if it clears up the issue. The relevant code/link aren't on the forum due to the regrettably (but understandably) short history.

Rock on,
-Kel

Erm, it's right there. Several pages back now, but that's what search is for. :)
I'm gonna just log in and see if it runs without it, if I can get it to log in. It's whining about libstdc, which seems to be something related to GCC. *shrug* I'll poke at it a bit more, but in the meanwhile, if someone could offer a definite answer about libalphafy, it'd be appreciated!

You don't need it now. That was fixed some time ago, pre-Tofu.

There are clothing rendering issues for some people in 1.12.1.13, but I believe that the root cause is different from the one addressed by libalphafy. This should be fixed in tomorrow's release.
