Hi Everyone,
In general things are much better than they use to be and mostly more stable but i have one very annoying problem.
Some textures/prims do not show. Prim hair is a good example and with the one i have at the moment most of it does not show and I have huge bald patches. I also often see this with others. I was also looking at a prim horse today but most of that is invisible to me as well.
I know this is a linux client version problem because at work on windows my hair is fine.
I have tried tweeking all the graphics sliders and no effect.
Any ideas?
TIA
Roslyn

linux client broken or...?

Still a problem here, despite newest driver, reinstallation, purging cache, trying on other machine, etc. Things were fine until the grid went berserk last week, and haven't recovered since. Textures flitting about at random, holes in rendering including avi itself. I'm walking around like the tatters of the invisible man If I hadn't had a Windows version to try as well, I would have sworn that the SL databse data was corrupted. Just hoping that either a fix is found or that the next client version will behave.
