With the .19 releases, I had been able to use the NVidia X Server Settings tool to force AA to 16X or other. With the new release it seems to have no effect. If I try to enable it in the SL preferences, I get an Unable to Create Window message, a blank window, and I have to edit the configuration file to turn AA back off to get SL to start again. Any workarounds? Is SL over riding the environmental setting? There could be problems with future linux releases that rely on compositing. SL should have a handle into AA from the nVidia or ATI drivers.

I use xubuntu hardy heron with the 169.12 NVIDIA drivers the restricted modules offer me.
