Hi, I have an Inspiron 1000 notebook, the spec's are pretty sad, but better than the EeePC (which i saw someone got SL to run on somehow)

so i was wondering if it is possible to get SL running (even if barely) on this laptop

the specs are here http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/dell-inspiron-1000/4507-3121_7-30904533.html

Thanks in advance :D

The Inspiron 1000 only has SiS integrated graphics, (the EEE has Intel) which is likely to be your biggest stumbling block.

Well, pending further advice from other forum goers, "Don't get your hopes up."
