I take it that we Linux users don't need to be concerned about this exploit, whether we are using native or Wine?

Natively, Gstreamer isn't susceptible, as WiLLuMPJuH points out. =^_^=
But if you've installed Quicktime for Wine, you might be susceptible if you run SL with Wine. |

If you're running QuickTime in Wine (or deriviatives), and they ever get smart enough to do a Linux-centered attack, you will have problems outside of SL.
If you run SL and QuickTime in Wine, you also have said same problems. _____________________
