Odd behavior this morning - Logged on, my avatar was a smoke ball, got the 'clothing downloading' warning, but the smoke ball never changed to an avatar. Left it running for five minutes. Tried logging in several other times - same result.

Is this a client issue or is this a grid issue?

hey

running 1.20.15 and have the same problem im a steamtrain and my inventory is loading without success
i have cleared the cache relogged, relogged again, ... but my bow works

Having the same trouble as well, even went back to 1.20, loading as a blob there (I swear I look fat as a blob!) Though the only problem I had with 1.21 was that my inventory took forever to load and if it ever did, then I couldn't put change clothing articles :/.

I'm starting to wonder the same thing if it's grid related or not, I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one stuck in the loading boat. So I'm assuming it's grid or server related perhaps?

Bah! I just saw that I posted this in the linux (I really should pay more attention..) yet, I'm having the same issue as a linux user and I'm on Vista :/. So definitely seems server or grid related.

For completeness - it apparently WAS a grid-wide problem. Checked www.secondlife.com/status and they were having issues. Thought that anyone stumbling across this thread should know the scoop.
