I'm running debian unstable on a ThinkPad T43 with:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc M22 [Radeon Mobility M300]
using the xorg open source driver. It works fairly well, but has one issue. All the normal text shows up as black on black shadow and is unreadable. The system messages like accepting a friend offer are unreadable as is the chat input. Chat display on screen looks fine. Highlighted text in the chat window is also fine.
Is there any way to turn off the text shadows on the UI?
I expect this is an issue with the X-Org M300 driver, and not with the game, but having the option do turn of the shadowing would still be useful.
