i am running secondlife on opengeu (as a meta package from ubuntu)
currently running the official latest viewer but must try some of the alternatives
everything was fab...sound is connected to a very good four part amp and big speakers system brilliant for secondlife clubs
then stupidly i downloaded lots of sound audio packages and then removed them
cos i lost all online sound ...teach me for being a medling techno dummy
what i get now is either very warbly, no sound or a noisey underwater machine gun effect
and sound is hell
what should i do
(sound is ok on bbc iplayer)
