SL on Linux running on a Ultra 60

Hi All.

I am planning on rebuilding my Ultra60 using either Debian or Ubuntu Linux and was wondering if I will be able to run SL on this combination. Has anyone tried this?

Ultra60 is Sun Sparc, no?

While you can get Linux to run on it, I don't know if there's a pre-compiled Linux/Sparc version of the client. There is, however, the source code which you will need to compile yourself to run on it.

I'm afraid that's the level of support available here; not too many people use architecture other than x86.

Let us know how it works. Sounds like an exciting project.
