Hi,
Has any of you faced this and found workarounds? When I log into SL, and try to right-click, for instance, to sit down, my SL crashes, and my X server crashes with it.
I'm using a T60 which has the ATI FireGL 5200 graphics card.
I've installed xserver-gl, and use the fglrx ATI driver.
I've installed compiz-fusion, but checked running SL with all enhancements turned off.

I did have SL running on my machine a couple of days back, just that I'm not able to place exactly when it stopped working. It might have been just after I got compiz-fusion working, though. (Please don't ask me to roll back this change to check if something else can be tested first. :( Though I will if I have to.)

Regards,
Nevah

i actually had a numerous problems with compiz and beryl while playing SL...
the solution was simple - i just stopped using them completely.. have not had the same problems since.

p.s. try uninstalling compiz completely and running the game.
