Is it possable to run the linux version of sl on a ppc version of linux. I recently installed ubuntu 6.10 on my g4 mac mini.

Yes i believe so, i read about some guys installing it on their playstation 3's (ppc)

You will have to compile the open source version, but it's possible.

I'm curious, would this run faster than running SL on OS X on the same machine? Because it would be really cool to buy a mini and convert it to a dedicated SL console.
Looking forward to hearing the results of this experiment.
