I have Mandriva Linux 2008 powerpack edition installed on my computer. SL viewer runs perfectly. How do I access the Advanced Menu at the top of viewer. In Windows it is CTRL, ALT, D. That does not work in Linux.

Try ctrl-shift-alt-D. It works for me.

Depending on how your keyboard is configured, it'll be ctrl-meta-shift-d, or ctrl-alt-shift-d. If it's meta, you'll know it because only the left alt key will work with it.

CTRL-ALT-D is the default keyboard shortcut for minimizing all windows (show desktop) in Gnome.

This keyboard shortcut appears to be disabled by default in Ubuntu 9.04. At least it is on my installation.

You can change this in the Window Behavior control panel.

Would that be within KDE? There's no such thing in Gnome; it's System => Preferences => Keyboard Shortcuts.

Nope, I'm talking about Gnome. If you're using some other window manager within that desktop environment instead of the default Metacity, you'll probably have to look up how to do it in your window manager.

For Metacity, it's System > Preferences > Windows for keybindings affecting window control.
