It seems this is the future for computers and I am in the process of shopping for a new system and was wondering if sl can handle dual core computers? Thanks for any advice

First Look has a "Use multiple threads" option in debug menu now. But I don't see any changes by activating this. Second core is not being used after enabling this. At least under linux.
But I don't care that much. Why this would not bring you much benefit either is described here: /263/9c/154700/1.html I more love that I have the second core for other applications I run in the background. Audio Player, Graphic Program, Browser and Email Client. I thought I had seen an official statement from a Linden for this subject, too, but I cannot find it again, sadly... Can anyone help here? |
