Today I did a dist-upgrade from Debian Etch (stable) to Debian Lenny (testing). Since there's no native nVidia driver in the repository for the kernel I'm running (2.6.18-5-K7), I downloaded and installed the latest driver directly from nVidia's site (100.14.19). Since the upgrade, most of the geometry on my screen (land, prims, avatars, etc.) vanishes from a number of camera angles, but especially if my camera is facing directly north, south, east or west. I've tried shutting off all GL extensions, as well as using the latest nVidia legacy driver (96.43.01), but it continues to happen. Has anyone ever encountered this, and is there any way to fix it?

Heh. I guess I should have read the forums before deciding "to hell with it" and spending 3 hours rolling my machine back to etch Has somebody submitted a bug report to Debian and/or Mesa? Ideally, whatever's wrong with the latest Sid Mesa should get fixed....
