Help i am currently using Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic with the latest version of SL Viewer 1.23.5.136262 and my
Specs:CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz
Memory: 1000 MB
OS Version: Linux 2.6.31-15-generic #50-Ubuntu SMP Tue Nov 10 14:54:29 UTC 2009 i686
Graphics Card Vendor: DRI R300 Project
Graphics Card: Mesa DRI R300 (RV380 5B64) 20090101 x86/MMX/SSE2 TCL
OpenGL Version: 1.5 Mesa 7.6
sometimes when i am in game it freezes then crashes i am using an open source driver for my ATI graphics card.

Is there a particular reason you are using the Mesa drivers instead of the restricted drivers?
If, because of the age of your card, you cannot use the restricted drivers, then you may need to use a non-Windlight viewer. See http://sldev.free.fr/ for the legacy renderer version of the CoolSL viewer. _____________________
