Yesterday I noticed that a new test release of the SL viewer was available. The version number was 1.20.0.84432.

Today the test release download page shows version 1.20.0.84431.

 What's up with that??

There might have been a major security or crash bug or whatever in the higher build number. In any case, I'm sure it was intentional for them to downgrade the build to a previous one -- when you're doing software development and looking for the best software, the latest software in source control is not always the best. Sometimes commits can make the software worse by introducing defects. -Tiyuk |

But in all my innumerable days, I've never seen a backware progression of a version number!

Oh, well. Maybe it means I'm getting younger...

Left hand, meet right hand. I'm sure the web-monkeys are not on the development release team. There was probably and issue with *31 and it got re-released with *32. There have been several boinked packages for Linux in the past where they had to re-issue the release and/or update the package on S3. BTW, latest 1.20 RC throws pointer exceptions and won't even load for me. Invalid pointer exception. *sigh* It's like they close their eyes and hit "build & ship".
