Hi all,

After upgrading to Fedora 8 I noticed a general improvement of the graphic Performance, 2D and 3D. The xorg.cong file is untouched. FPS improved by 10% however now something strange happens. When I open the textures saved in my inventory they cant be rezzed, instead a chequered flag pattern appears. Also, when I minimize the SL window and maximize it again some texts get corrupted and some minor icons like the volume one are always corrupted. The curious thing is that the sims rezz fine. All of it is strange. This is an HP NC4010 laptop with an ATI IGP345N card. All OpenGL extentions are enabled since 1.18.3.5, besides the graphic corruption the system runs stable. Anyone suffering the same symptoms? Before upgrading to Fedora 8 the performance was a lesser but there wasnt any issue at all...

Btw, I forgot to say. The problem hasnt to do with the optional opengl extensions. It does the same with or without them.

cheers,
