I know you lindens are hard at work on the updates and the linux alpha. But if you get a second, a reply to this would really help everyone (including me) whos currently turning purple.

I am creating a linux client for 1.8.3 right now.
Unfortunately, there haven't been any linux-specific bug fixes (yet). I will tweak a few libraries and the startup process a bit, but that is all for now...
