Dear people!

I have a new laptop, Acer Aspire 5720z with a nVidia GeForce 8400M GS, running Ubuntu 7.10 and Second Life 1.18.4.3 runs smoothly except for one thing - the shiny objects aren't shiny anymore. I have disabled the correct lines in the 'secondlife' script, but still no luck.

I run the same version of both Ubuntu and SL on another machine with another graphic chipset, and there everything works "just like in Windows ..." :-)

This isn't a critical error, and I don't really expect to find a solution on this problem, I just thought I'd let people know.

Ah, just me still beeing an idiot :-D - when I enabled "bumpmapping and shiny" in preferences, everything is peachy.
