I get crashed out, but I get up again...

Damn, 1.18.1.2 just is very crashy!

I crash when I drop (from the pie menu) any attachment I'm wearing.
I crash on every exit of the client.

This is an ALPHA release of the Second Life linux client.

This seems to be happening to a large number of Linux client users where on logout it crashes with a core dump.

Double free corruption, when an instance of one class encapsulates and assigns an instance of another class.

Perhaps a delete was called on an already deleted pointer in a destructor.

These two previous posts look like different bugs, not good with strace output myself. Be sure when upgrading clients to clear the cache and check settings to be sure everything is in range still. Sometimes clearing the cache takes care of startup/shutdown crashes.

Tried a cache flush which produced the same random core dumps. Erased the entire directory and any attempt to load the view produces the same consistent coredump added below. Bug report submitted.

I'm getting it on both platforms I have.

After first moments of optimism for experimenting improved fps and memory & cpu utilisation vs the previous builds I have to say that 1.18.1 is becoming a nightmare to me. I went from a reliable experience in SL with no crashes at all to frequent crashes, they use to happen at first, just after the graphic window is created or little after loging. I am running SL on Fedora 7, on an Ati Radeon Mobility equiped laptop (1,2Ghz with 1Gb ram), Mesa driver.
