So how exactly do we post bugs?

Is this forum the only place for reporting bugs? It seems that way, as the bug threads posted by the LL staff are closed. It's a bit frustrating not to get any feedback from LL about issues that are not addressed in their FAQ.

My problem: I can't even launch secondlife. Trying to do so only gives me the message:

./secondlife: 51: bin/do-not-directly-run-secondlife-bin: not found

And then nada. Others have this problem too (see my previous post). Sooooo....is anyone looking into this or is posting bugs here a waste of time? Do you really want me to live in RL, like Paris Hilton in jail?

Also, once you have the viewer running you might use menu "Tools" > "But Reporting" > "Report Bug", but actually the JIRA issue tracker seems to be the way preferred by the Lindens to receive bug reports.

Can you check you've unpacked the whole archive and not only the startup script (./secondlife)?


Tofu Linden often does, as well as your fellow residents (like me).
Yes, it's not stated in the system specs, but this is actually needed to access SL only if you drive too fast
