What hardware, what distribution, what graphics driver do you use?

You have a driver installed, that supports 3-D?

For me, SL works very well with Linux (except voice).

So i dont know the answers to your questions but maybe this will help? i had windows xp...worked fine..hub tride to help make it all work better by doing a reformat to free up memory or whatever. Well the disc was damaged and wouldnt let him reinstall windows xp. So he had to try Linux. And now i cant even get SL to work.... Like i said i dont know the answers to your questions, but I do know everything worked fine till I tried it with linux, lol. I hope at least some of what all I said makes sence!
