1.20.2.RC & GEForce 7300 LE

My screen distorts after a few minutes when running RC 1.20.2. I was using the Nvidia driver 100.14.19 when I upgraded to the latest RC, then upped my driver to 171.05. Same thing. SL runs, and after 2-3 minutes, I get 'noise' lines across the screen, followed by a complete freeze a minute or so later.

The current stable viewer runs fine. in fact all viewers run very well except for 1.20.2 using identical settings.

Does anyone have any ideas?

System: mainboard = Gigabyte GA-945GCM-S2C, Pentium D (2800), 2G RAM, Pixelview GeForce 7300LE 512 (256 onboard)

The few times I've tried to run 1.20 I've had numerous crashes.
As far as I can tell, most if not all are due to some opengl / graphics driver glitch.
I'm also running NVida (100.14.19) and it works fine with the 1.18 & 1.19 clients.
There are a few reports of Nvidia users in WinXP having problems in the Jira as well.
So in summary. Something in the client is borked.
