Hi. I just downloaded the 1_16_0_6 for my debian etch stable and it was a 20 min download on high speed Comcast cable. I downloaded this three time and it would not bunzip2 for me. It said the package is corrupt. Where can i get the last copy of sl?

Have you tried decompressing with a GUI archiver like file-roller or Ark? If that doesn't work, try bzip2recover.

If your ISP has a catch then you might have a corrupt version stuck there so eveytime you get a new download you get the same broken version. Try again after 24 hours or from some one elses connection if you can

Try again after 24 hours or from some one elses connection if you can because I have Comcast too, and I'm good. But it's still a good idea to try from someone else's computer, or at an Internet cafe if one is close enough.

I'm having a problem with Mandriva. It's now downloading it as a .tar.bz2.exe and telling me it's not a valid archive file - even when opening with ark.

decompressing corrupt version 16 with ark
