Hi folks,
so I expected some performance loss with my SuSE 10.1 distro, compared to my shiny new M$ XP install (no SLI, after all)... but such a whopper of a difference?!
On XP I hardly experience any lagging at all unless in extremely complex areas... same HW, Linux cllient, the thing has a frame rate of perhaps 1/3!
Anyone here with a single GForce 6600? How fast or slow should it run, approximately?

That's what I have and I almost never lag, unless in a complex area like you said with 28394924 shitty textures and 60 avatars LOL
Tell me what you need to know and how to go get it in the client and I will tell you the stats I have if you need.
