Not sure this is a Linux client issue:

Primary avatar owns a parcel (public access) to which my Alt can not teleport to. Get's bounced to corner of sim w/ message 'not on access list'. But there IS no access list. Parcel is marked 'public access'.

Now, Alt can walk or fly to the parcel and stay there with no problem. Can also materialize there on new log-in if left their on previous session.

Tried to clear cache files (cleared group cache as well as cleared the .secondlife/cache directory) but it had no effect.

Looking through the trouble tickets I see similar issues (primarily people who can't teleport Home but can walk or fly home). Thought I would post this in case it's a Linux client issue.

Running latest Beta (21.5) under Kubuntu 8.04 and Nvidia driver (nvidia) for a 7600GS board. Other than this issue, am seeing no other serious problems (except the occasional crash-out for no apparent reason; typical of everybody it seems).

Well. LInden Labs was able to figure out the problem.

The parcel in question was at one time part of a larger lot. Apparently I had set a landing point on one of the sections I'd sold off, but that setting stuck.

Still a bit of a mystery - as none of those lots are 'no entry'; even so, I reset the landing point to the specific parcel and I was able to teleport to it with no problems.

Thought I would provide some feedback in case others have a similar problem.
