I've rented from you, Salazar, since May of 2005. I fell in love with Nova Albion in my first day or two, and the place continues to be exciting. I remember when we longed for people to inhabit the city, and now with the infohub there's a real city liveliness. The future can only be bright in our magical city.

A Brief history of Marcos: My first parcel was over in Barcola on the little bit of land to the northwest of the infohub. Later on, I sold that and bought a parcel from Cubey Terra, on the second "peninsula" north of the bridge from Ahern. After that, I bought a couple small parcels from Reitsuki Kojima in the central area of Miramare. I bought the parcel where the Space Needle stands from Beryl Greenacre. The parcel where ARMORD tower stands was purchased from Catherine Cotton, and later I acquired the land next to the bridge from Nephilaine Protagonist (or possibly her group, I don't recall). I owned the small parcel next to the infohub as well, but I don't remember who I bought it from. A while back, Dotcom Sumbula bought the large parcel next to my ARMORD tower, and I traded almost all of my small plots for that single large one. A while back, I sold that large parcel and tiered down a notch. That's about all I can remember.

/me waves at her neighbors
Hi! Hi!
I just want to say that I always loved Nova Albion, since my first days I've been wandering around these sims, in my first week of life I saved Nova Albion of a fire attack, it was painful to see it under the flames, two lindens came to help with water buckets...
Ok, the important thing for me is that it took me two years to have my own place in Nova Albion (with a strange predilection for Miramare), and thanks to Caroline I could cherish that dream much time before. I'm not going to move from here either. I would like to appear in the Past and Present List in some years hehehe

Hey Marocs!
03-09-2009 21:01
Marcos also got a couple parcels from me.. i started with one, got as high as 4, and am back down to one since long ago.. i owned the parcel to the South and North of my current one. One went to Marcos (South side), the other (North) went to (HOLY CRAP! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WONDERFUL BUILD/SHOP?!?) Barnesworth. and the little 192sqm was my other parcel, currently owned by Barnesworth (whicdh i originally sold to Marcos) and just behind the WhipTech POWA Generator (with the Panda on it). I lost a significant amount of L$ on those sales, but i wasn't after money.. i just knew i wouldn't be using the land effectively/timely and wanted it to go to someone who cared about the city. I never ended up building the place i had in mind on my land (between procrastination and getting a job (say "hi" to Joppa Linden sometime)...) and eventually settled for something halfway decent. although it seems the black-ness of it is a bit out of place (should i go a bit more grey maybe?), i dig the vibe there. Nova Albion has a wonderfully special place in my heart and i will NEVER let go of this parcel. between the mole people (not LPDW Moles) and the city-scape that has changed rather dramatically, even if slowly, over the years.. it is a home like no other i have had in SL. probably partially due to the amount of time i've been there, but the community is just full of "win"! /bow
