Hi, the Milarepa Land Trust is slowly attempting to site Buddhist lands and projects accross Second Life. Thing is, we don't charge for anything, nor do we rent, sell, or otherwise collect payment for Second Life content. One should never charge for dharma and we plan to honour this precept.

But SL therefore gets expensive for non-profits like ourselves, partially because there is no equivalent incentive to SL's Dwell payments that reward non-profit and philantrhopic activities. So if you can spare some land tier -- check your "My Land" panel under "World" to see if you have unused monthly land tier -- we would most welcome any donation, just so that we can maintain the monthly costs of our modest and fully-public sites.

Currently we are fundraising/tier-raising for Drak Yerpa, our large plot in Zoe modelled after Tibet's great mountain hermitage. Tier donors, as do volunteer site residents and committed dharma students become members of the Milarepa Land Trust.

IM Tenzin Tuque for details on Milarepa sites, tier donation and/or how to get involved. Although I am less in-world these days due to RL family concerns, I will reply to questions and queries as soon as possible.
