I'd like to see about arranging regular meetings for Second Life users in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm local to the East Bay and would like to setup a time and place to meet in the Berkeley area if possible. If anyone else is interested I'd like to hear any suggestion for a possible venue for such an event. Theres lots of good places for meeting up out here in Berkeley and I have a few idea myself as well.

This is mostly inspired from the Conference last year at Stanford University in Palo Alto where many of us local Second Life users as well as many SL neophytes that where part of the conference got together for a very interesting meeting of the minds. I know for me and many of the other people present it was a very great experience to have a chance to gather with the real life counterparts of many of the avatars we've become so familiar. I must say I rather enjoyed myself an would again like to capture the spirit of that event again. I'd be glad to hear from anyone that would be interested in hosting and/or participating in such and event.

I'd also like to know if there might be anyone else interested in heading-up a local meeting for the other side of the bay as well? San Francisco(home of Second Life), and perhaps another somewhere further up the penisula?
