I've been living in Munich for a month or so, was wondering if there are any english-speaking SL users here that would like to meet up...

Hi Eggy!
October, 25 there's a meeting of SL residents in Munich! Have a look at http://www.slinfo.de/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=17142&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 and contact Brigitt Loening if you like to join us. We had a lot of fun the last time in July ;-).

on a slightly different place name request, any sl residents from east anglia uk?

I always wondered if there were folks within easy commuting distance locally, that could perhaps meet up for a chat or beer rl and possibly help each other out every so often? Or am I going beyond the realms of anonymity or sensibility here?

I for one as newbie-ish, would sure appreciate the comraderie of rl interaction rather than continually badgering people in-world and sitting learning all the time, often with a furrowed look on my brow. I for one would benefit from seeing individuals operate sl in rl.

thanx

You're not giving me any, so what else can I do? :D
Seriously though, it sucks to move to a totally different part of the world and not know anyone or even speak the language.
