i've met loads of Indian folks in country and overseas in sl

in world, use search on groups and search for anshe chung india.. and join in and send us a group IM..

definintely hoping more folks from desi world will come to sl

anyone from India/Hindu temples on SL??

I'm not from India but I have alot of friends from there that I met while they were doing contract q.a. testing over here in the U.S. My friends in India who I have encouraged to get on second life are telling me they can't access it. This would be in Southern India/Chennai.
Is there anyone from Southern India who is able to access second life?

I am surprised I have not met more people from India on SL. I am on at a time in SL when my best friend from India usually calls. Also my spiritual teacher was from India and while I have found many Buddhist temples, I have not been able to find one Hindu temple on SL.

If anyone knows of one, would you please IM me inworld.

In search of Desi's?

Hi there,

I had sent out a message awhile back looking for other Desi's (East Indian's) in SL. I have created a group which I encourage you all you join. It's called Spicy Desi and it is going to be part of probably one of the first Desi Night Club's in SL.

I am from Toronto, and I am sure there are a lot more Indian's in SL than just me... Like any community, when we find out things are good - we normally come out in the masses. lol

Look for the club under Search and Join it to be made aware of our grand opening, coming soon.

We will feature Bhangra, Hindi Remix, calypso/soca, Hip Hop, R&B, and Bolllywood Pop (filmi)

See you in-game.
