Who are we?
Singing Arc was founded by Pulaski Fizz of AV Puli Animations, LLC. The idea being that the SL business community can and should be able support the SL music scene while promoting their business. So with my experience in the construction industry (in real life) I set out to organize Singing Arc as a musical event that would benefit everyone (artists, fans, and the businesses). What was brought to my attention was we lacked real life support for the musical arts. Thus we are a proud Sponsor of VH1’s Save the Music. Twenty five percent of all profits with go to Save the Music.

Why the name?
William Du Bois Duddell (1872-1917) an electrical engineer in Victorian England was famous for developing a number of electronic instruments. By attaching a keyboard to the carbon arc lamps he created one of the first electronic instruments, the Singing Arc, and the first electronic instrument that was audible without amplification. When Duddell exhibited his invention to the London institution of Electrical Engineers it was noticed that arc lamps on the same circuit in other buildings also played music from Duddell's machine.

I've been to the first SLCC, and as hard as the organizers worked to include live music, it never did it justice. Singing Arc's primary focus is on the music. It is going to be 11 hours of your favorite live musicians!! A bunch of us are even working together as a big collaborative effort, so it's going to be mind-blowing.

I'm going to be performing! For those of you who are fans, I can't wait to see you there!

There's been a lot of talk about this festival. Perhaps too much talk. This is not a rebel festival. This is SINGING ARC.

(I wrote this post mere minutes after regaining consciousness, (I was just asleep, not passed out) and I hope I'll be able to edit it if I read it later and find it embarrassing)

Why didn't someone think of this before? I am so looking forward to playing this event and very proud to have been asked to be a part of it. Get your Singing Arc tickets early as I predict it's going to sell out.

Las Vegas is going to be a blast! I am really looking forward to performing with some of my favourite musicians in SL. I also am looking forward to meeting many SL Residents who are friends and fans of all the musicians involved as well.
I can do the Club Stud dance...but no slow dancing...because I'm far too hyper.

Not only will this be a collection of fine SL musicians, it will be a collection of fine SL musicians playing TOGETHER. That's something that happens very rarely amongst the SL music community, and it will be a show to be remembered. I'm looking as much forward to playing bass, electric and acoustic guitar behind some of the other performers as I am to "my" stuff, and I'm looking forward to "my" stuff more than usual because I'll have Kyle and Lyndon backing me on drums and bass. Kafka and I are already working up some kickass material with a practice drummer (my son) in Kyle's stead, and several other performers are planning to be backed by other musicians from the group.

News from Singingarc fizzle...tickets have gone down to 50.00 due to overwhelming sponsorship.
