I know of at least one, but I'm not going to be the one to divulge who it is, just go to a lot of live music events.  I'm just to the south in Iowa, so there's a few of us midwesterners on here. I know another live musician is from another neighboring state of yours (Wisconsin). |

Probably necro-posting by now, but I meant a performer I know is in the twin cities - I've joked around with them about putting together an event at the surf ballroom in Clear Lake (it's the last place Buddy Holly/Ritchie Valenz/Big Bopper played) and is just about equa-distant from DSM and the Twin Cities. btw - I almost qualify as an ex-MN - but never quite got rooted there - was in a band that was based in Minneapolis, but it broke up w/in a few months and I moved back to IA (then to CA and TX, then back to IA). |

im not from mn.,but from new jersey,and my bestest friend in the whole world is from mn,and i have to say,you minnesotans do happen to be the nicest people around,polite,curtious,and patient,ive met nolan nash a few times in game through my bestest buddy,he knows who im talking about i wont reviel the name cause i respect the wishes of my best buddy not to say thier name in the forums,but is a great person and im honored to know this person |

Well origionally from MN born and raised , pretty much lived all around MN, mosty of family live either around Twin Cities or Northwest corner, currently down in Tennessee watching brothers house and dog while he is deployed... Not sure if I will remain here or not Grew Up around Brooklyn Center, had an apartment right next to Gaters Night Club at 1 time in Plymouth to name a few places I know fairly well. |

I grew up in Brookyn Center. Haven't been to Gator's for a few years. Played on their volleyball leagues for a couple seasons. Lived in other states for most of the 80s, but have been back in MN since 1990. Live in Maple Grove currently. Maybe we ought to form a Minnesotans in SL group? And we definately need a night out sometime!
