Atlanta This Weekend 10/26

Friends since Beta, Sulumor Romulus and Maggie Miller will finallly get to show each other our real life avatars. Sulumor is coming to Atlanta to visit me, Zebulon Starseeker and Annora Chatnoir.

Khamon Fate is coming in from Alabama on Saturday.

Others are welcome to the Saturday night gathering. If you'd like to come, just say so!

Last I heard, we're all meeting 1pm on Saturday at the Applebee's in Canton. Khamon and Annora have been furiously trying to coordinate everyone's schedules, I think.

We pick Sulumor up at the airport tonight--Annora, Zebulon and I. What fun!

If someone has the time/energy to make alternate arrangements, it's fine with me. I originally thought Khamon might be staying overnight in the area, so wanted to have him close enough that we could easily meet for breakfast in the morning, too. That's the only reason I chose Canton.

That said...it'll be good to see everyone, wherever we meet.

Whoah, it's Sulumor! Hey, it's been great so far - can't wait to see the rest of you ATLiens. =)

I'm also in Gwinnett, but I wonder how many metro Atlantans we have in SL. Supposedly, the forums only represent a small percentage of SL's total population. 3-5 forum readers could translate into 25 or so residents within the Atlanta metro.

So, I wonder if anyone would be interested in more regular get togethers around the Atlanta area? Sorta the way photographers get together monthly, or owners of certain cars, etc. There's so much to do around Atlanta that can be fun in small groups. For instance, I have a boat at Lanier that's begging to pull skiiers/tubers. There's much to do outdoors, but also plenty of bars to hop around and sing Karaoke as well.

As for restaurant choices, I'd suggest the Sundial atop the Westin Peachtree hotel downtown (I've actually built a replica of this iconic Atlanta skyscraper at my SL home in NW Europa.)

awwwwwww, im sorry to have missed this, considering its in my hometown. we're working on moving back, so hopefully neil and i will be at the next one. cant wait to hear how it went!!
