Meet-up in AR/OK/KS/MO Area - poll

I'd like to try to plan a Midwest gathering somewhere in the Northwest Arkansas area in mid-to late August, for those such as myself who can't make the San Francisco SLCC, but not DURING it as I want to be at the in-world SLCC. Please indicate your views on a location in the poll.

Since you are concentrating on the 4 states in your original concept, I'll leave out my fav (Des Moines) but will mention that if you go for KC (as it looks like the poll is favoring) you're likely to be able to pick up at least some of us from the Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois tier of states, and lets face it KC is a better draw (imho) than most of the rest of your proposed locations.

I hope you don't mind my throwing in my $2L worth, since I'm not from your original target, but overall, I think you might get the best results from KC.


That said, I will once again say that if you don't go for KC, and if folks wanted an upper midwest get-together, that Des Moines would make a pretty convenient location - on both I80 and I35 it is close to midway between Omaha, Chicago, the Twin Cities and KC. ~4-5 hours from any of those locations on straight-shot interstate. Don't want to hijack your poll, but thought I'd bring up those points.
