Hey! We do fairly regular live meetups for mixed reality in Los Angeles. We have a nice artspace in MidCity, a few Second Lifers and a studio here where we make machinima and design crazy stuff. Come visit sometime, give a shoutout if you're in LA and want to come to a live event.
Our SLAons have typically been 5-8 people with laptops, happy hour style, BYO takeout or let's order something in. We teach each other skills and show each other favorite places while meeting live. We're all industry/creative folks so there's often music or art involved, sometimes live sessions and recordings.
