Don`t know where to put this post in, so I try it here  I woke up today and read the newspapers online and saw some aritcles about Big Brother will come to SL. Reads exactly like the thing Endemol entertainment would do for a little more media coverage. I like the idea and SL gets some more media presence as a side effect. Who pays the tier for that island, I wonder? |

That`s what i want to know too.
And I wonder why it`s written down in a newspaper and not on the SL website.
If that`s realy true with the island then I think SL will give the island for free tier???
Or Endemol pay for it? But then I want to know for how long.
Will this island be for everytime or only for some months?
And of course: Need the winner a premium account to get the island?
Then it wouldn`t be a real prize to win, cause you need to pay for your premium account and of course you need to pay to get the island lol
Would be nice if SL would tell the user how it will work ...
Or the newspaper are lieing to have a good story,
so that all was only a thought about this event and nothing more.

I dunno.. sounds pretty good to me, even if they eventually have to pay tier.
After all, people have to pay taxes on winnings on a show... just ask Richard Hatch (Not the one from Battlestar Galactica)!
If people join up knowing that they'll have to pay tier, eventually, then it's fine.
However, if it were me, I'd offer the island setup and a year's worth of tier.
That's a decent prize, 'f y'ask me.
Anyone know where more info is?

Someone was trying to do a big brother in SL a while back....but I don't think this has anything to do with that.

@ sae Nope, that hasn`t anything to do with this here now.
I searched for keyword "big brother" in th sl search
and saw there is an island from big brother (the logo).
But I don´t know if that has anything to do with this here.
@ Mickey I`m looking for some more information about it
but there isn´t mush to find without the newspaper articles.
I think the only thing what would help for more information
