Would anyone be interested in starting a Highlander group or series of events with me?

There MUST be other Highlander fans out there.

Good thing you're checking first because, you know, there can be only one..

Hehe, love Highlander!!! Makes me want to go throw my dvds in the player to watch while I'm waiting for SL to get it's butt together and work with my computer again. Aww... Methos...
I was thinking of starting a group but got tied into other things. I'd love to be part of a Highlander group if I can ever get back into SL.

If you build it, we will come. :)

Highlander? Yay!

Well, the first film was still the best in my opinion. The second really sucked and is best forgotten, except for the presence of Michael Ironside! The third is similar to the first, but a far more worthy sequel. "Endgame" appeared a bit of ananachronism, and I haven't really seen The Series, but from what I HAVE seen, it seems to be an "alternate universe" version, with a different Macleoud dominant.
Nonetheless, hell, yes! I'd join a group dedicated to HighLander!
After all, It's Better to Burn Out than to Fade away!!

Oh, out of interest, I developed a HIghlander Board Game...

Cool! I knew it! And I was surprised there wasn't a group already.

I'll set one up! Look for it soon!

Also, the soundtrack for the Source is coming out soon, we should have an album release party for it.

What do you think?

The album release party would make a great starting event for the Group - but we gotta have QUEEN music too!!!

Don't start the party without me!

No idea when SL will work with my computer again, but I don't want to miss anything! :) Before the update I was working on creating a resturant (The Resturant at the End of the Universe)--might be a cool place to have a group party?

Oooh! Restaurant at the End of the Universe is a great idea.

As for the release party, the soundtrack won't be out for at least a month, so we have plenty time!

I bet we could get a bunch of people together if we get the word out- that's what I've always loved about Highlander fans, we have such a great, long lasting community!

The original Highlander is the ONLY one I acknowledge as having been made. All the others detract from it's phenominal storyline.

I'll be watching tonite thanks to this thread.
