I have started a Yahoo Group for those of us living and traveling to the South/Southeastern United States. Since meetup.com started charging the organizer $19.95 per month I did not want to use their service. If you live in the South/Southeast or are traveling to the area this will be a great place to post and maybe connect with some other SLer in RL. I'm hoping that the calendar will be used to post when someone is going to be in the area or any events that might be interesting to attend. It's open membership to anyone, the owner of the group and the moderator will have final decisions on all members and posts. That being said, I hope Lecktor will join and agree to be the moderator. Cool. Where was this last year when I spent that hellish month in VA Beach?  I used to spend a lot of time in the south on business trips bored out of my mind, this would have been nice, I could have treated everyone in the south to dinner at various times. |
