Interested in Middle East interest group

I know usually SL residents do not really like to think about RL politics and things while in world (at least from my experience), but I would like to try anyway.

I am interested in Middle East news, anything that comes from there. I have a blog which I don't post on as much as I used too... I want to try and combine my Middle East interest with SL, start a group of people with the same interest and create something.

This is NOT about discussing politics and arguing.. I realize it might become a part of this, but that's not what I have in mind. I am more interested in creating a second life "news room," if you wish, which follows reports from the Middle East for long period of times. Arabic speakers needed and wanted (I have a friend who might join us).

I'm interested in a ME Interest Group However i'm not interested in politics nor religious issues so if that starts around, and i'm sure it will... please don't get offended if i tend to stray away from those bits within the focus group

Don't laugh, but I'd be interested in joining the group, as long as we get to share recipes of the wonderful foods of the middle east! lol - Of course, politics, culture and everyday happenings there are important, but can only be discussed after the baklava! ))

I'm very interested in ME politics. Even tho Egypt is officially Africa, I can include a bit of knowledge of that country, I have friends there. Apart from that, I'm Muslim, but that's not an invitation to flame or troll...
